Dr. Stephen Cosby Hanson has worked in various capacities for Fortune 500 companies, numerous law firms, attorneys, property developers, REITs, railroads, newspapers, and even the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Dr. Hanson has also been a teacher, licensed operating engineer, industrial electrician, CEO and corporate director.
Dr. Hanson has worked in government at the city, county, state and federal levels, including the U.S. State Department and CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.) Some of this work was performed by Dr. Hanson's former, fifteen-year enterprise, Attorney Overload Service.
Dr. Hanson has experience in several areas of intellectual property. Dr. Hanson has been granted United States and foreign patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He has participated in trademark disputes, and has been involved in disputes of patent infringement allegations in the Fixler/Filipowski/Paul Allen/Nathan Myhrvold example/strategy/model.
Dr. Hanson has traveled widely on six continents. He is sensitive to the cultural differences and diversity around the world and in our own great country.

The work that Dr. Hanson is most proud of is in the area of education. He has inspired, hopefully, a few of his hundreds, in fact, thousands of students in California public schools. That list would include the students he has helped to attend NASA Space Camp.
